The Best Romance Audiobooks of 2012
Clare Wille is in her element. Her Sophy brings sunshine to the stage… Wille shows off vocal range with Spanish Marquessas, every age of person and station in life, including a very memorable gentleman with a cold, and all the time Sophy with a smile in her voice. Recommended for all fiction collections. © 2012 Sound Commentary Read complete review
Romance Audio Bests for 2011 - Top Five
I’m not what one could call a Georgette Heyer aficionado and that may be one of the reasons I so enjoy these abridged versions of her works by Naxos Audiobooks. I don’t recognize missing content.
…Clare Wille’s narration of The Grand Sophy convinced me I’ll keep coming back for more of these abridged works. I was delighted to find that I enjoyed her narration…Ms. Wille’s performance, in a word, is exceptional. …Ms. Wille has a full range of pleasing voices for both male and female characters. Her narration combined with a sweet, funny story set in Regency England, made for some great entertainment albeit of a calmer sort than the other Top Five picks. © 2011 All About Romance See complete list
