Ardella Crawford
American Record Guide, May 2013

Grab these while you can because they’re hard to find.

These are quite beautiful, with many striking moments. For Scarlatti’s time, despite their idiosyncratic hybrid nature, they are quite traditional, and they remind me much more of Corelli’s concertos than Vivaldi’s.

…this disc will be an excellent addition to your Scarlatti repertoire. © 2013 American Record Guide Read complete review on American Record Guide

David Vernier, February 2013

Listening to these immensely appealing works makes you wonder why they aren’t more often performed, recorded, and appreciated…they are exceptionally well crafted examples of the genre we describe today as concerto grosso…

It’s hard to imagine any lover of instrumental music not finding lots to enjoy here, not only fans of Baroque repertoire, but anyone who likes the idea of a program in which you can just jump in anywhere and immediately appreciate the music’s engaging, entertaining style. © Read complete review
