Scott Noriega
Fanfare, July 2014

For the Mozart and the Chopin alone this disc is highly recommended; for the bonus a very fine Schumann is included. And all of this in wonderful and resonant sound, with fine program notes, and most importantly, with very fine orchestral playing and conducting…This is a disc to savor. That said—grab it and enjoy! © 2014 Fanfare Read complete review

Donald R Vroon
American Record Guide, May 2014

Beautiful playing—everything just right. Pianist, conductor, and orchestra are all excellent.

It is wonderful that this kind of playing can still be heard: resolutely un-mechanical, instinctively poetic, tonally beautiful. © 2014 American Record Guide Read complete review on American Record Guide

Remy Franck
Pizzicato, February 2014

You don’t know Margarita Höhenrieder? Believe me, you should! Her naturally sovereign playing just makes the music wonderfully rhetorical. No extravagance, no special effects but a lot of elegance, refinement and warmness. Musically everything seems to be right in place, with the best possible adjustment in terms of colors and light, and a perfect interior balance. © 2014 Pizzicato
