Jean-Pierre Vincent's exceptional production of Mozart's incomparable masterpiece is a theatrical and musical spectacle to ravish the eye, intellect and ear.

The young Italian conductor Paolo Olmi leads an orchestra at the top of its form - the magnificent overture is rendered elegant, transparent and shimmering with desire and emotion.

This stunning cast is lead by Giovanni Furlanetto whose Figaro is beautifully musical and well-acted, capturing all the gaiety, grace, goodwill and optimism of the role. Elzbieta Szmytka is a lively, natural and commanding Susanna.

Ludovic Tezier (Count Almaviva) is completely sure of his acting and singing ability. As the roles demands, he is incapable of controlling his desires. Francesca Provvisionato is a delicate and moving Cherubino and Janice Watson's Countess Almaviva a model of rectitude.
