Hot on the heels of its nomination in the choral category of the 2013 ICMA Awards, Delius’ A Mass of Life bags yet another prestigious recognition as winner of Choc of the Year award by French magazine Classica.
The Naxos recording by Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra under the baton of David Hill has been amassing accolades since its release last June, including Fanfare Want List, Choc de Classica, ResMusica.com Clef du Mois and WETA CD Pick of the Week. Critics have praised it highly, saying:

‘a stirring and perceptive interpretation of [Delius’] work.’ – CD of the Week, Daily Telegraph (UK)
‘splendid modern sound, a thrilling choir and orchestra, and, in David Hill…a conductor no less devoted to Delius than his more celebrated predecessor’ – CD of the Week, The Sunday Times, London
