Dacapo Recordings Nominated for Six Danish Classical Awards
The Danish record label Dacapo has been nominated for six P2 Danish Music Classical Awards (P2prisen DMAKlassisk 2006). Which CD recordings win a prize will be decided by a vote among the listeners of the Danish Radio station P2. The winners will be announced on 23 September. The Dacapo recordings that were nominated for the important P2 DMA Classical awards feature in each of the four categories: Vocal, Chamber music, Orchestral, Solo.
The national Danish recording label Dacapo was founded in 1989 as an independent institution under the Danish Music Council. The label has produced about 300 CD recordings in collaboration with the best Danish musicians, singers and composers, and created a unique collection of Danish music and Danish national heritage.
Dacapo’s Danish releases are distributed all over the world by HNH International Ltd., distributor of Naxos and Marco Polo record labels.
