The popular Musical Journey DVD series brings many of the greatest tourist destinations from around the world to you, accompanied by some of the most beautiful classical music by composers associated with each place of interest. This month, we present five great titles, three of which are featured below.

St. Petersburg, Sebastopol, Odessa (NTSC)

This tour of Russia takes you to St Petersburg, Tchaikovsky’s house at Klin near Moscow, south to Ukraine with views of Sebastopol in the Crimea and of Odessa. The music accompanying our tour is Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto and Serenade for Strings.

London, Westminster, Greenwich (NTSC)

Visit the best known sights in the British capital, with views of the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace and down river to the Palace at Greenwich.
The music is taken from the last two of Joseph Haydn's twelve London Symphonies.

A Musical Tour of the Country's Past and Present (NTSC)

The tour starts by following the River Vltava through the countryside on its journey to the capital, Prague, and visits some of the great buildings that lie on its course, with music by Smetana and his successor Dvořák.
