Ana Durlovski, soprano, was born in Štip, Macedonia, and studied at the Music Academy of the University of St Cyril and Methodius in Skopje, making her debut there at the National Opera. Appearances followed at the National Operas in Belgrade, Sarajevo, Tirana and Zagreb. In 2006 she made her debut as the Queen of the Night at the Vienna State Opera and was awarded the Croatian Marijana Radev culture prize.

From 2006 to 2011 she was a member of the Mainz State Theatre. She joined Stuttgart Opera in 2011 and in 2012 was awarded the German Der Faust theatre prize as best singer-performer in music-theatre and was named best up-and-coming singer for the same role by Opernwelt. In 2014–15 she sang the Queen of the Night at the New York Metropolitan Opera, singing the same role at the Dresden Semperopera and the Madrid Teatro Real. She sang Elvira (I puritani) in Stuttgart and appeared as Ginevra in Ariodante and as Norina in Don Pasquale.
