Ekaterina Likhina was born in 1989. She grew up in St Petersburg, Russia, where she studied historical keyboard instruments at the St Petersburg Conservatory with Ivan Rosanoff. During this period she also attended several master classes with Bob van Asperen. In 2013 she was admitted to Aline Zylberajch’s class at the Strasbourg Conservatory, where she obtained a Specialisation Diploma in Harpsichord in 2014. She then continued her education at the Music University of Würzburg with Glen Wilson, ending her studies with the Meisterklasse diploma in 2016.
Ekaterina Likhina performs regularly in Russia and Europe. Her repertoire includes Renaissance and Baroque music as well as music of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
