(b 1987 )

Eren Süalp was born in 1987 in Ankara. He began studying classical guitar with the international guitar virtuoso Ahmet Kanneci in 1996. Since 1998 he has participated in the masterclasses of world-famous virtuosos such as Alirio Díaz, Álvaro Pierri, Jorge Cardoso, Tillman Hoppstock, Jozef Zsapka, Carlo Marchione and at various guitar festivals. In November 2011 he won the second prize at the Andrés Segovia International Guitar Competition in Linares, Spain. In June 2014 he was awarded second prize at the Hubert Kappel Guitar Competition in Koblenz, Germany. In September 2014 he won first prize at the 47th Michele Pittaluga Guitar Competition in Alessandria, Italy. He has also been awarded many more prizes worldwide. Eren Süalp has given guitar recitals across the world. He graduated from the Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory Guitar Art Department with a bachelorʼs degree in 2009 and a masterʼs degree in 2014.
