Hélène Hébrard studied at the Maîtrise of Radio France and then with Isabel Garcisanz, working further with Malcolm Walker, Susan McCulloch and Isabelle Henriquez. Sponsored by the Karajan Foundation she joined the International Studio of Zurich Opera. She made her début at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Paris, in Mendelssohn’s Elijah and in L’Enfant et les sortilèges (l’Enfant). Her career abroad has included Javotte (Manon) at Geneva and Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro) at the Longborough Festival. She has also sung the rôle of the Child in Tokyo with the NHK Orchestra under Charles Dutoit.
