JOAN ALBERT AMARGÓS (b 1950 )
Joan Albert Amargós was born in Barcelona in 1950. Although he trained as a classical clarinet player, his interests have led him to collaborate with musicians from different genres, including jazz and flamenco, as well as symphonic, experimental and popular music, and singersongwriters. He is considered one of the most important composers and arrangers in Spain—and the most awarded—as well as the most eclectic.
