JULIA BOGORAD-KOGAN

Praised by The New York Times, flutist Julia Bogorad-Kogan became principal flutist of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra (SPCO) at the age of 22, and combines an orchestral career with regular recital and solo performances, performing worldwide.

A frequent soloist with the SPCO, she has also performed with the Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra, and has appeared on numerous Saint Paul Sunday radio shows and at the Marlboro Music and Ravinia Festivals. Bogorad-Kogan has served as acting principal flutist of the Boston, Milwaukee and National Symphony Orchestras and the Minnesota Orchestra, and serves on the faculty of the University of Minnesota.

Her two latest albums, Flute Music of the Paris Conservatory and Handel Flute Sonatas released on the Full Harmonic label, have been critically acclaimed by Flute Talk magazine.
