KLAUDYNA SCHULZE-BRONIEWSKA

Klaudyna Schulze-Broniewska was born in 1968 in Poznań. At the age of nine she made her stage debut as a concert soloist. She studied at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and graduated in 1992 with the title ‘Excellent’, subsequently completing three years of solo studies under Grigorij Fiejgin, having already appeared regularly as a concert soloist. She later travelled to Poland, Russia and Spain.

In addition to First Prize in the 1984 National Zdzisław Jahnke Violin Competition and Third Prize in the 1993 ‘Pablo Sarasate’ International Violin Competition, she reached the semi-finals in the renowned International Tchaikovsky Competition in 1993.

Since November 1995, Klaudyna Schulze-Broniewska has been the concertmaster of the Brandenburgisches Staatsorchester in Frankfurt. Her solo repertoire is dominated by works by Polish and Russian composers. At the Musikfesttage an der Oder in 2006 she performed the world premiere of Poème for violin and orchestra by Simon Laks.
