LUCA LOMBARDO

Born in Marseille, Luca Lombardo has won a number of international voice competitions, including the Caruso, Milan and the Viñas, Barcelona. He made his international début in the rôle of Gabriele Adorno (Simon Boccanegra) at Flanders Opera, followed by Turiddu (Cavalleria rusticana) in Sydney and Melbourne, Don José (Carmen) in Ljubljana, Tours, Singapore, Pamplona and in Japan, Thésée (Massenet’s Ariane) in SaintÉtienne, Werther in Seville, Mylio (Le Roi d’Ys) in Japan, Charpentier’s Louise and The Cunning Little Vixen at the Paris Opera, Macduff (Macbeth) and Hoffmann (Les Contes d’Hoffmann) in Nice, Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly) at La Fenice, Venice and in Messina, Faust (La Damnation de Faust) in Argentina and Mario Cavaradossi (Tosca) in Tours.
