PETER SCHUBERT Peter Schubert studied conducting with Nadia Boulanger, Helmuth Rilling, Jacques-Louis Monod and David Gilbert, and assisted Gregg Smith. He sang briefly under Norwood Hinkle, Richard Taruskin, John Blackley and Edward Tatnall Canby. He has conducted the Barnard-Columbia Chorus, New Calliope Singers, Cappella McGill, and Orpheus Singers of Montreal. He has published two textbooks on counterpoint, an edition of Renaissance Noëls and a set of arrangements of five popular Christmas carols.
