Simona Eisinger studied voice at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna and also completed a degree in international business at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. The Austrian soprano, who has Slovakian heritage, has won several international singing competitions and received a scholarship from the Armin-Welter-Foundation of Zurich.
Since her debut in 2007 at the Stadttheater Baden, she has given guest performances at opera houses and theatres such as the Volksoper Vienna, Theater an der Wien, Neue Oper Wien, Theater in der Josefstadt, Landestheater Linz, Stadttheater Klagenfurt, Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich and Theater Luzern.
Her repertoire comprises roles such as Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, Gretel in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel, Ninetta in La gazza ladra and Sylva in Kálmán’s Die Csárdásfürstin.
She has performed concerts and recitals in prestigious international venues, such as the Philharmonie am Gasteig in Munich, the Konserthuset in Stockholm, the Musiikkitalo in Helsinki, and Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall among others.
