Equally active as a recitalist, Twyla Robinson sang Mahler's Des Knaben Wunderhorn as part of San Francisco Opera's 2002–03 Song Recital Series. She made her début at Carnegie Hall in 2004, joining Marilyn Horne and other world-renowned artists in a gala concert celebrating the venerable mezzo-soprano's seventieth birthday.
