YAROSLAV KRASNIKOV Yaroslav Krasnikov received his Master's Degree at the Moscow State Conservatory. From
1983 to 1990 he worked as concertmaster of the Moscow Chamber Orchestra, Moscow
Capella, and as first violin of the Liceum Quartet. For the BBC he recorded as
soloist Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and concertos by Bach, Mozart, and
Brahms. From 1991 to 1996 he was concertmaster and soloist of the Tchaikovsky
Symphony Orcherstra. Since the mid-1990s he has been the leading soloist of the
Concertino Chamber Ensemble of the Moscow State Philharmonic Society. He has
appeared as soloist and concertmaster at the Gilikon Opera Theatre, at the
Bolshoy Theatre and as a member of a chamber orchestra he has participated in
music festivals and toured many countries, including the United States, Spain, France, Japan, Poland, Egypt, and the Republic of Korea. He has recorded twelve CDs.
