Aleksandrs Antonenko may be the next great Otello. The role seems to hold no terrors for him vocally, and he certainly throws himself into it dramatically.

The Vienna Philharmonic under Riccardo Muti plays gloriously. Muti actually emphasizes some inner voices from the orchestra that one often cannot notice. © 2013 American Record Guide
