Lynn René Bayley
Fanfare, May 2014

…I have taken this symphonic journey with Fischer, the only difference being that I did it in 12 nights rather than in seven years.

I have now replaced the Jaap ter Linden set of Mozart symphonies on my shelf with this one. I strongly urge you to give them a listen and see if you don’t agree. © 2014 Fanfare Read complete review

Infodad.com, February 2014

…these are excellent readings from start to finish, beautifully balanced, giving just the right level of prominence to the winds, sailing along at tempos that seem so right that it is hard to imagine these works being taken at any other speed. The Danish musicians are highly responsive to Fischer, and he seems to have an exceptionally close collaboration with them…The overall sound of the music…is simply wonderful, and this release as a whole is certainly one that Mozart lovers will want to have for the sheer joy it communicates…Fischer’s 45-symphony release is and will be a joy for as long as we have ears to listen to it. © 2014 Infodad.com Read complete review

David Hurwitz
ClassicsToday.com, December 2013

…there are moments here that really make you sit up and take notice, in a good way.

…while there are aspects of [Fischer’s] interpretations that I will never like, I have to say that he executes them with such conviction that I can’t let my personal bias get in the way of a recommendation. If what you hear and see sounds intriguing, then by all means try this exceptionally well-engineered Mozart cycle. © ClassicsToday.com Read complete review
