Michael Ullman
Fanfare, January 2015

The playing here is fine in all three works and in the short Minuetto pastorale, and the recording is full-bodied and clear. © 2015 Fanfare Read complete review

Brian Wigman
Classical Net, December 2014

…the Concerto in C Major is a lovely work. Here the Roman orchestra plays a supplementary role…[and] Bruno Canino proves a spellbinding soloist. He clearly believes in this music, and he and La Vecchia work well together. …the whole project is faithfully recorded. © 2014 Classical Net Read complete review

Donald R. Vroon
American Record Guide, November 2014

…this is by far the best recording of [the Piano Concerto] that I’ve heard. The pianist is expressive, the orchestra sleek and refined, the tempos moderate, the overall effect very pleasant. The sound is not too close-up; it feels like a real place—a warm place. © 2014 American Record Guide Read complete review on American Record Guide

David Denton
David's Review Corner, August 2014

The two [symphonies] we have here are enjoyable and academically well constructed, the third movement Minuets being lightweight in texture and possess an easy delight, while fast-paced finales bring them to a happy conclusion. The Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma and their conductor, Francesco La Vecchia, are highly adept in capturing music of the period, with the distinguished pianist, Bruno Canino, doing everything possible for the concerto. Good sound. © 2014 David’s Review Corner
