Stephen D Chakwin Jr
American Record Guide, March 2012

Guarnaschelli has a mainstream modern sound…Her sound is medium dark, compact—it sounds as if she’s playing an Alexander horn…

She has a rock-solid technique, tremendous evenness of sound (no falsetto-sounding high register out of her!) and phrases beautifully.

…the main pleasure from her Mozart is how easily and naturally the performance flows. Her tempos are sensible: moderate and at ease in the first movement, gently moving forward in the slow movement, and lively but not hectic in the finale. She’s clean in the technical passages, whole-hearted in the lyrical ones, and always gives playing that’s at the service on the music instead of the other way around. © 2012 American Record Guide Read complete review on American Record Guide online

Stephen Eddins, November 2011

Guarnaschelli plays…with unimpeachable technique, a lovely, round, Germanic tone, and a seamless, velvety legato. She and the Signum Quartet approach the material with respect for the conventions of the period in terms of ornamentation and use of vibrato…general audiences should find their playing attractive. The sound is clean, warm, and beautifully balanced. Read complete review

Rick Anderson
Baker & Taylor CD Hotlist, November 2011

Guarnaschelli’s tone is buttery and burnished (no small feat on her notoriously difficult instrument), and the ensemble playing is consistently warm and sweetly energized. These are delightful pieces, very pleasingly played, and the album is strongly recommended to all classical collections.
