Phillip Scott
Fanfare, May 2016

Sophie Klussmann (or Kluβmann) boasts a warm middle register—she has sung Cherubino, usually a mezzo-soprano role—but is easily able to float the high As and B♭s that are frequently required. …Noack’s mellifluous baritone contributes warmly to the Five Duets of 1909 (in my view, the least memorable songs on the program). Finally, that excellent pianist Oliver Triendl provides beautifully played, sensitive accompaniments. © 2016 Fanfare Read complete review

Robert A Moore
American Record Guide, March 2016

Klussmann has a rich and creamy voice that casts a sumptuous spell when she is not singing at full voice. …The varied accompaniment and the inclusion of the duets enhance the program. Triendl offers sensitive collaboration. © 2016 American Record Guide Read complete review on American Record Guide
