Raymond Tuttle
Fanfare, May 2018

…this is one of those discs where the sum is greater than its parts, given the varied and “reimagined” works that it presents. Müller-Schott has the most to say when he is all by himself—those Mozart cadenzas are really lovely—but elsewhere, he is never less than likeable. He can be sweet, and, in the C. P. E. Bach, he can be a little tough. © 2018 Fanfare Read complete review

The Strad, March 2018

Expert and stylish performances from Müller-Schott and the period orchestra L’Arte del Mondo present a magical partnership, tasteful playing coupled with judiciously elegant shaping of phrases. © 2018 The Strad Read complete review

Remy Franck
Pizzicato, November 2017

With only one work transcribed by the composer himself (the CPE Bach) this program features music which cellist Daniel Müller-Schott adapted for his instrument. The arrangements allow him a fabulous singing, and sometimes his instrument reaches vertiginous heights. L’Arte de Mondo is very well supporting the soloist. © 2017 Pizzicato
