Jonathan Woolf
MusicWeb International, December 2013

The performances…are highly sympathetic and the supporting musicians play with care.

…I have just three words; Konstanty Andrzej Kulka. What an indefatigable player. If you know him best as an elite interpreter of Szymanowski and Penderecki, and then add his pioneering recordings of Karłowicz and Młynarski (No 2) concertos, then you should know that even in his mid-sixties his playing is still at a terrific technical level. You’d hardly embark on a cycle of works by this composer if it weren’t. © 2013 MusicWeb International Read complete review

Joseph Magil
American Record Guide, September 2013

The soloist in all of these works, Konstanty Kulka, is recorded with greater clarity…he…has these extremely demanding works securely in his fingers and produces a firm, full tone in all registers.

Perhaps the most impressive thing about this release is the consistent quality of the music…it is charming, virtuosic music stylistically consistent with the period. © 2013 American Record Guide Read complete review on American Record Guide
