Grant Chu Covell
La Folia, October 2019

Wołek emerges more distinctively in Bend, wherein a predominantly unison ensemble explores massing and subtle detuning as material accelerates into a dance before dissolving. The keen focus continues in Elements with four distinct electroacoustic interludes. I hear a progression in this program, even though Bend is both earliest and latest. It may be that smaller ensembles permit focused elaboration of material. © 2019 La Folia Read complete review

William Hedley
MusicWeb International, January 2014

Here are three challenging works to add to our knowledge of the extraordinary richness of contemporary Polish music.

This is the third CD Accord album featuring the superb soprano Agata Zubel…to have come my way, and in line with her reputation for contemporary music—she is also a composer—her contribution to Eppur si muove is stunning…the orchestra plays with evident skill and apparent conviction. The presence of the composer makes one imagine that the performances are definitive. © 2014 MusicWeb International Read complete review
