Matthew Rye
The Strad, July 2016

Sławek brings a generous array of tone colour to her performances and is especially effective at conveying half-lights, in the whispered first entries to both sonatas, for instance. Her melodic line is always purposeful and rhythms are crisp and tidy. Piotr Różański is an equally sensitive musician and the pair have an obvious rapport. © 2016 The Strad Read complete review

Robert Maxham
Fanfare, May 2016

…Accord’s recorded sound, with its fidelity and broad dynamic range, enhances Sławek’s and Różański performances. On the whole, it’s a most compelling program and deserves to be urgently recommended. © 2016 Fanfare Read complete review

Bradley Lehman
American Record Guide, March 2016

Kevin Filipski
The Flip Side, January 2016

…violinist Maria Sławek and pianist Piotr Różański give exceptional performances of some of Weinberg’s violin-piano works, including the fiercely hard-nosed Sonata No. 4 and the expansive Sonata No. 5. © 2016 The Flip Side
