Grego Applegate Edwards
Gapplegate Classical-Modern Music Review, July 2016

This is as authentic and spirited an approach to Tartini as you could wish. It glows with charm and expressive punch. Highly recommended! © 2016 Gapplegate Classical-Modern Music Review Read complete review

Phil Muse
Audio Video Club of Atlanta, July 2016

[Šiškovič] plays Tartini’s music with a special warmth of affection in the most famous work on the program, the “Devil’s Trill.” As opposed to other, more “daring-do” accounts of this famous showpiece, he takes his time in the finale, where repeated onslaughts of the famous bravura cadenza with its sensational trills over double-stops make it one of the most challenging works in the violinist’s repertoire. He gets the emphasis just right in these trills. Throughout the work, we get an impression of the very rich harmony, sometimes not stopping short of quirkiness, for which Tartini was famous. © 2016 Audio Video Club of Atlanta Read complete review
