Tom Gibbs
Audiophile Audition, July 2015

…whether or not these youthful musicians are steeped in the Brucknerian tradition, they give an utterly convincing performance. Remy Ballot does an amazing job with these young players; you’d be hard-pressed to find any flaws with the playing in this stellar recording. This is a difficult work for even the most skilled orchestra imbued in the Romantic tradition, and that these young players can acquit themselves so admirably is indeed miraculous.

This is a very rich-sounding disc, and a richly rewarding listening experience… Very highly recommended! © 2015 Audiophile Audition Read complete review

Remy Franck
Pizzicato, January 2015

A majestic work recorded in a majestic church with a majestic orchestra: Remy Ballot and the Upper Austrian Youth Orchestra perfectly realize the convergence of tension, breath and tranquility. Bruckner’s inner singing is heard here in a 104 minutes long, permanently gripping performance. © 2015 Pizzicato
