Jed Distler, January 2016

…[Jacoby’s] suave, rippling passagework and double notes in the Fourth concerto’s Allegro moderato evoke Gieseking’s similar approach, while the scales that pass back and forth between soloist and orchestra in the development section of the “Emperor” first movement come alive with color and mystery. © 2016 Read complete review

Jerry Dubins
Fanfare, November 2014

These are fine modern readings of the concertos…

…certainly a set that deserves endorsement for being very well played and very well recorded. © 2014 Fanfare Read complete review, July 2014

Jacoby has a remarkable way with this highly familiar music. It is not just that her technique is limpid, fluid, articulate and exemplary in attention to rhythm and phrasing—although it is all those things. The result is performances that clearly track Beethoven’s growing maturity as a performer…Sinfonia Varsovia under Jacek Kaspszyk…provides absolutely first-rate accompaniment throughout this set. Beethoven has rarely sounded fresher or better understood than in Jacoby’s finely nuanced performances of both the concertos and the solo music. © 2014 Read complete review
