The company appears to be in fine shape, …The orchestra too plays with brio under the experienced hand of Graham Bond. © 2016 Ballet Review

Dance International, March 2016

The highlight is undoubtedly the dancers performing in the famed Danish style, with buoyant light jumps, fluttering beats and graceful arms, all made to look completely relaxed and effortless; the musicality and detailed acting combine with a general sense of joie de vivre, so that everyone onstage looks like they are having a ball. Leading an impeccable cast, Alban Lendorf is a positively swoonworthy Gennaro, ably matched by Alexandra Lo Sardo’s perky Teresina. © 2016 Dance International

Nicholas Sheffo
Fulvue Drive-in, January 2016

Graham Bond conducts the Det Kongelige Kapel and Sorella Englund & Nikolaj Hubbe adapt Bournonville’s original moves well. And yes, Federico Fellini’s work is referenced, but so is a broader sense of Italian Neorealism without overdoing it visually or getting sidetracked. © 2016 Fulvue Drive-in Read complete review
