Philip Greenfield
American Record Guide, July 2015

The Salzburg Bach Choir looks to be a group of around 35 singers, with fellows who sing nicely and a complement of sopranos and altos on loan from the heavenly choir itself. You’ve never heard Verdi’s ‘Laudi all Vergine’, Grieg’s ‘Ave Maris Stella’, or the ‘Ave Marias’ of Bruckner and Holst sound more ravishing than they do here. …what handsome and bright music-making this is, with the Oehms engineering singing out as resplendently as the choir. © 2015 American Record Guide Read complete review on American Record Guide

James A. Altena
Fanfare, July 2015

The performances here are uniformly excellent. The 38-member choir sings with beautifully blended tone, balanced ensemble, and finely graded dynamics. The recorded acoustic is ideally spacious but not occluded with unwanted reverberation. …this is an off-the-beaten-track concept release that provides rewarding listening for those interested in its subject matter; duly recommended. © 2015 Fanfare Read complete review
