The Schubert is as fine as the Mozart, and for the same reasons…his sound is always beautiful…In the Chopin, his best characteristics come together and he gives a memorable interpretation, with light filigree, extremely subtle pedaling, and perfect balances. I hope to hear him play more Mozart and Schubert, and perhaps Haydn and Bach. These would seem to be the composers best suited to his restrained style. The recorded sound is very fine throughout.
