Robert Hugill
Planet Hugill, September 2016

Richard Eilenberg’s galop Petersburger Schlittenfahrt is pure candyfloss, but delightful and it certainly does not outstay its welcome. Whilst the Ballsirenen-Walzer from Lehar’s Die lustige Witwe will put a smile on your face.

The performances are sparkling, and the two obviously have a good rapport. So this is the perfect disc to put on, relax, and simply enjoy. Undemanding perhaps, but a total delight. © 2016 Planet Hugill Read complete review

MusicWeb International, September 2016

…the dappled and reflective opening is a good fit for the harp and piano, where the overlapping lines can fool the ear into thinking it’s hearing the piano when actually the dovetailing harp has taken over. There’s certainly a degree of playfulness in this performance and a pirouetting warmth too.

There’s a pleasant look to this recital. Maybe there are too many overtures, as noted, but the calmly enjoyable playing shows real technical accomplishments. © 2016 MusicWeb International Read complete review
