Millennium of Music, March 2016

This production’s value is first and foremost documentary. …The singers have all nice voices, and unstylish vibrato is avoided. …Diana Trivellato is the most authoritative of the sopranos. She has no technical problems and sings with great security. In regard to expression things are varied. Ms Trivellato is again top of the bill, and Raffaele Giordani makes a very good impression as well. © 2016 Millennium of Music Read complete review

…the slow contemplative tempo in Usper’s ‘Vulnerasti Cor Meum’ is reinforced by touching and expressive soprano singing accompanied by harpsichord and gamba. There’s just the right amount of texture contrast between decay in the harpsichord notes and sustained legato in the gamba and vocal lines. © 2015 American Record Guide Read complete review on American Record Guide
