J�r�me Ducharme, First Prize Winner in the 2005 Guitar Foundation of America Competition, studied at the Montr�al Conservatoire with Jean Valli�res and in Switzerland with Oscar Ghiglia. In this recital, featuring a guitar made by Ren� Wilhelmy, Ducharme performs Falla�s Homage to Debussy, Rodrigo�s Tres piezas espa�olas, which evokes the stamping feet of a flamenco dancer, and Appalachian Summer, a theme and variations written for the 2005 GFA Guitar Competition by Matthew Dunne.
