'the shape of a child' was first conceived as a piece of experimental musical theatre and produced at Scholes Street Studio in Brooklyn in August 2021. It was later workshopped at Avaloch Farm Music Institute in Boscawen, NH.

The project represented the inception of Shining House Theatre Collective, whose dear members I am forever indebted to: Issac Lopez, Lizzie Kehoe, and Natalie Young.
