Fateh Ali Khan (Gawaliar) is the son of Ghulam Rasool. Born into a musical family, he was taught by his father and his uncles Umeed Ali Khan and Manzoor Ali Khan. He is well-known for mastering the nuances of performance with his pure singing style. He takes meticulous care in the precision of structure and has the rare ability to sing the most challenging of raags. He has also represented Pakistan at the United Nations Organization.
