Mubarak Ali Khan is a prominent artist of the Kirana Gharana tradition. He was taught by his uncle Ghazanfar Ali Khan and calls Amir Khan his spiritual teacher. He was awarded the 6th All Pakistan Music Conference ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ in 2011 and the ’Pride of Performance Award’ by the Government of Pakistan in 2007.
