In their album Pas de deux, Linda Guo and Manuel Lipstein make their debut as a duo with outstanding works for violin and cello from the 20th century. The selection includes aural impressions of French composers such as Xenakis, Ravel and Honegger. The diverse tonal language of modern harmony is juxtaposed with traditional forms such as the sonata or passacaaglia in Halvorsen’s work.

Manuel Lipstein has already released his first solo album Roots on Oehms Classics.
