Agatha Bocedi, harpist, teacher and composer, began studying the harp at the age of seven. She obtained her second level academic diploma in 2021 with top marks, distinction and honourable mention, under the guidance of Emanuela Degli Esposti. She specialised with internationally renowned harpists such as Ieuan Jones (at the Royal College of London), Letizia Belmondo, Vincenzo Zitello (Celtic harp), Marcella Carboni (jazz harp). She is the winner of numerous international competitions and carries out an intense concert activity both as a soloist and in chamber ensembles. The present recording sees her in the dual role of performer and composer, in an alternation of pieces for harp solo and for harp and voice or instrument, accompanied by equally young and talented musicians such as Stela Dicusara (soprano), Valentina Bernardi (flute) and Matteo Zanetti (cello).
