Guitar Recital: Martha Masters
The International Solo Guitar Competition, sponsored by the Guitar Foundation of America, is one of the top events of its kind worldwide. For more than fifteen years the competition has given winning performers a head start in their careers thanks to the prestigious concert tour awarded to the winner. In November of 2000, a month after winning this competition, Martha Masters went on to win the Andrés Segovia International Guitar Competition in Linares, Spain, as well as becoming a finalist in the Alexandre Tansman International Competition of Musical Personalities in Lódź, Poland.
