‘Sai-thaiñ ki Sur represents a three-year collaboration between Welsh songwriter Gareth Bonello (The Gentle Good) and artists from the indigenous Khasi community, in North East India. Recorded in the city of Shillong and in villages around Meghalaya, ‘Sai-thaiñ ki Sur explores folk songs, poetry, missionary hymns, folklore, and historical and contemporary issues affecting both societies.
