Naxos clinches new DVD label, EuroArts
Naxos Global Distribution has recently added a new DVD label to its roster: EuroArts Music International GmbH, a subsidiary of EuroArts Medien AG. EuroArts launches its label in the UK on 28th June 2004 with three new DVD releases. The deal also includes Europe plus North and South America through the entire Naxos Group, arguably the most effective worldwide distribution network for classical music.
EuroArts was the first producer in the classical DVD domain and has always offered high quality productions using top-end technology, thereby setting high standards across the sector. Programmes are presented in a 16:9 wide screen format with dts and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound in addition to the standard sound format PCM stereo. Their projected 30 releases per year will feature opera, ballet, concerts and documentaries and will build on the company's global reputation as a producer of audiovisual entertainment.
"I am delighted with the new cooperation between EuroArts and the Naxos distribution network. EuroArts has long been respected for its quality cultural programme-making and Naxos is particularly excited to have the opportunity to deliver and promote these DVDs to the market."
Anthony Anderson, Executive Director, Naxos
