ASGER LUND CHRISTIANSEN  

(b 1927 )

Best known as a cellist Asger Lund Christiansen is also a composer. He has composed numerous chamber works, concertos, solo works for piano and cello, and a flute sonata that was premiered by Jean-Pierre Rampal. His works reflects the influence of the neoclassicism that flourished in Denmark in the period between the two world wars.
