Dario Salvi is a Scottish-Italian orchestral conductor and researcher specialising in the restoration and performance of rare works. His main areas of interest are Viennese music and works by Meyerbeer and Auber. Salvi has conducted symphonic works, opera and operettas across Europe and the US as well as in prestigious venues such as the Royal Opera House Muscat, Oman. His passion is the rediscovery and performance of never-beforeheard masterpieces by the likes of Suppé, Meyerbeer, Rumshinsky, Genée, Auber, and many others.
