Filip Dvořák studied piano at the conservatory in Brno. He subsequently went on to study the harpsichord and authentic historical performance at the Academy of Performing Arts, and the University of Music and Theatre ‘Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy’ in Leipzig.

Dvořák is a sought-after basso continuo player and the founder of the baroque orchestra Hipocondria ensemble. He collaborates with many ensembles including Collegium 1704, Musica Florea, Ensemble Inégal, and the Haydn Ensemble, and often participates in the Arco Diva projects with the conductor Marek Štilec. Dvořák also teaches at the conservatory in Teplice which has resulted in the creation of the Musica Filipika ensemble.
