MATTHEW LARKIN (b 1963 )
Matthew Larkin was born in Oxford and moved as a child to Canada, where he was a chorister at St George’s Anglican Cathedral in Kingston, Ontario. He studied at the University of Toronto, where he was an Organ Scholar of Trinity College, and at the Royal College of Music in London. After various important appointments as organist and choirmaster he was appointed organist and director of music at Christ Church Cathedral, Ottawa, in 2003 and became Artistic Director of the Anglican Chorale of Ottawa in 1997–2006 and the Founding Director of Euphonia Chamber Choir.
