PABLO CAMESELLE

The Spanish tenor Pablo Cameselle first studied in Argentina and made his début at the Teatro Colón before moving to the Vienna Conservatory. He studied with Alberto Zedda at the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro, where he sang in Il viaggio a Reims, followed by many Rossini rôles, including Lindoro (L’Italiana in Algeri) in Athens, Essen and Spoleto. He has sung in Il barbiere di Siviglia in Naples, in Guillaume Tell in Miskolc and Warsaw and in Mosè in Egitto in Sassari and Erl. Donizetti performances have included La Fille du régiment in Tenerife, L’elisir d’amore in Novara and Belgrade, and Don Pasquale in Košice and Belgrade. He has also sung in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro in Halstatt and Reinsberg and Don Giovanni in Kraków, as well as in Handel’s Acis e Galatea in various cities in Italy. He made his début at the Musikverein, Vienna, in Mozart’s Requiem. Other engagements include Elvino in La sonnambula in Slovakia, and Il barbiere di Siviglia in Israel.
